November 2019

Well let's see, I signed up for the course on-line so that was a plus. All of the staff in every department at Barb's, that we visited, were very helpful.  Our riding coach, Kevin, was extremely knowledgeable, explained everything we would be doing clearly and made the exercise demonstrations look really easy.  As someone who took a shot at the NJ state rider test before I took this course, I can say this course puts it's students through the same rider test that the state does.  The difference is the quality of instruction that this course offers before one has to demonstrate those skills.  Before I took this course I could ride my Harley®.  Now that I have completed this course I know how to DRIVE my Harley®, which makes riding my Harley® a ton more fun and safer.  Highly recommend this course to anyone who rides.

Hello,

I am writing to share the value that I found in the HD® riding class.  First of all, the flexible schedule accommodates my work schedule.  Secondly, the instructor Anthony was very concerned for our safety.  His practical real world knowledge was evident and he diligently worked with people at their level.  I would highly recommend this class to anyone.

Many thanks,
Josue

Hi!  The Riding Academy course I took was fantastic.  My experience prior to this was very limited, but the instructors presented everything in an easy to understand way.  I had a ton of fun learning to ride over the weekend!  I plan on buying my first bike(a Sportster) next month, and can't wait to ride it everywhere.  Thanks again, George is an awesome instructor!

I would recommend the Harley-Davidson® riding academy at Barb's to anybody.  The dealership staff were accommodating, and answered any/all questions us students had about the bikes.  Our teacher was great, and the range we took the course on is well maintained.  We used little street 500s, which are very good starter bikes.  Overall, our class had a great time learning together.

Sincerely,
Alex

June 2019

I wanted to take a moment to share my experience at Barb's Harley Davidson® Riding Academy with you.
First, let me give you some background.  I had received my endorsement back 10 years ago or so.  Rode perfectly fine for years.  In February 2018 I was diagnosed with a brain tumor that was removed in June 2018.  I lost all balance and peripheral vision.
After working extremely hard for months, I walked into Barb's Harley Davidson® in April of 2019.  I was so pleasantly surprised.  It was like walking into a family member or best friends house. Every member of the staff was extremely helpful, caring and understanding.
I met the Riding Academy manager and the concern presented when I told him my story was the most real and genuine.  He advised me to go back through Riding Academy before I do anything, to help with my balance, check my vision and learn how to ride again.  So I signed up for a June 2019 class.
Once I did that, I proceeded back to the MotorClothes® department since I was in need of a new helmet because my little half novelty helmet just would not suffice anymore....perspective changed.
The ladies in MotorClothes® were so extremely helpful and patient.  After trying on most of the helmets, they were able to help me find one that did not hit my pins, but also would keep me well protected.
When class day finally arrived, I was scared out of my mind...no pun intended.  My Riding Coach was Anthony.  There are not enough words that can fully praise his teaching ability or the way he relates to each and every student.   Anthony was an intricate part of my success in Riding Academy.
With all that being said, I highly recommend Barb's Harley Davidson® Riding Academy to anyone and everyone that has any interest in riding.
Thank you Barb's for making me feel like family.

February 2019

Riding academy was awesome!  I had been riding my little grom for several months before taking this class.  After getting a feel for harleys, I'm not sure how much longer I can ride my little bike.  Might be time to upgrade!  The sales people let us sit on whatever bike we wanted to on our class break.  The class itself was really fun, and I would recommend it to anyone with or without riding experience.
